Welcome to the New York City Women of Vision. We're glad you stopped by. We are a group of like-minded women who seek to serve the poor, locally and globally. Come join us as we educate, serve, and advocate for the poor.
About
Women of Vision is a volunteer ministry of World Vision, a Christian relief and development organization, which equips women to serve impoverished and oppressed women and children worldwide. We seek to educate and inspire women to action in an effort to alleviate the injustice and inequities that exist for women and their families.
As Women of Vision we:
- PRAY for the women and children we seek to serve.
- EDUCATE ourselves and others on global and local issues affecting
- women and children.
- ADVOCATE for issues affecting women and children globally and locally.
- SERVE in our own community.
- SUPPORT selected World Vision projects and development activities which most impact women, their families and communities (water, microfinance and economic development, education, maternal/child health and protection from injustice.)
