World Vision Storehouse Volunteer Day RECAP

On Saturday, August 25th, Women of Vision NYC volunteered with  Women of Vision New Jersey and other volunteers from the tri-state area at World Vision's  "Back to School Fair".   Local children from the Bronx area were able to choose from a variety of activities at different booths: face painting, carnival type games, crafts, book table, and food.  It was a wonderful experience and opportunity for the volunteers to interact with the children and their families as we were able to see how World Vision Bronx Storehouse serves one of the neediest communities in the tri-state area.  The highlight of the event was when the children left the fair with big smiles on their faces as they received a brand new backpack filled with school supplies.
